在明朝末年，朱姓皇族为了躲避灭顶之灾，改姓为“东”，并逃至山东海阳。后来，一部分东姓族人又从山东闯关东，来到庄河定居。最近，记者与庄河市文体局有关专家一同探访了青堆镇六吉屯，该村位于庄河西侧约5华里的地方。在此地，有着盛传的说法：该屯的东姓居民是明国皇帝朱元璋的后裔。经过初步证实，这种说法似乎有其根据。
据村中居民介绍，在明末时，当农民起义军攻城时，皇城里的朱姓贵族纷纷外逃，他们改姓为“南”、“北”、“西”或“四方”。这些改名后的家族成员分散隐居，以免被诛杀。
然而，在清朝，不再追杀朱元璋后裔，那些隐藏在四省交界处的小地方的东姓族人渐渐生存繁衍下来。一支来自山东省海阳县一个叫做“褡裢”的小地方的 东姓族人，也向庄河迁移，并最终定居于六吉屯。
昨日，庄河市文体局文化科科长张德君表示经过调查考证，现在已经初步确认青堆镇六吉屯的东 surname residents are indeed descendants of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang. They have a unique tradition called "拜四方" or "paying respects to the four directions," which is believed to be a key evidence of their lineage.
The villagers also possess an ancient genealogy that reflects the family's historical connection to the Ming dynasty. According to them, their ancestors were known as "文方日月明" and "成亚继地兴," with the former implying that the Ming dynasty would never perish.
While no one pays much attention to this ancient phrase today, they take pride in knowing that their ancestors once held imperial power. The story of how these descendants of an emperor adapted and survived through generations has become a fascinating tale in modern times.
